I installed a couple of the LED lights. I like these a lot better than the fluorescent bulbs. I never cared for the fluorescent bulb and we start going after a while. They didn't have the intensity. Filament bulb. I liked much better, but now we have LED - and that is a great improvement, but I like these because they don't get as hot they last much longer. If you change in any of your fixtures to LED be aware that you may have to replace the whole fixture when it goes out, but again, you're looking at maybe 10 years down the line or go replace or old light here, this is in my laundry room.
I'm going to replace that with an LED fixture, always be careful know what you're doing, if you don't hire professional, don't take chances the light switches off I'm going to disassemble this and I'm going to check for current to make sure we proceed any further. There is no electricity coming through. I hear spiky enough. I don't want to be, my particular model. This is an old one. It's been here since the place was made a flat-head screwdriver, I listened to of these screws. Here you should turn and drop down and then I'm going to check the wires to see.
If I have any electricity running through, they should be dead. Okay, my meter said on the EC checked it there's nothing there, so we're good to go. It's all. I have to do is undo these weak wire nuts and take this light off out with the old. Let's check out the new okay, what we're going to be installing is this: Hampton Bay, 11-inch square flush mount LED light now. The model number is I M D, 3, 0, 1, 1 l M, B, n 11 by 11 by 3 and 1/2. These are mandible. These are nice, you can actually dim them. So if you want an LED in the living room in your bedrooms, if you have a dimmer switch, the LED will work on very cool, very nice. Let's open this up check it out, and then we can do the installation pretty good packaging.
There are our instructions mounting hardware and you can see right through here all these little dots. Those are the LED and of course, it's not even plastic. That's glass! That's nice! I thought that would be plastic, so let's go back up and get the hardware mounted. So far all I've had to use is a Flathead. Screwdriver looks like I will be needing Phillips head for these. A screw in this just goes into the existing outlet. There's a lot of things: you can actually do yourself in your home and it gives you a sense of pride because now, every time someone comes in switches, the switch turns a light on.
