This is the Yosemite home decor to light thirteen and a half inch ceiling light, and today I'm going to show you how to install it. It's an easy do-it-yourself project. It may help your project go quicker and faster, and there are two black wires and two white wires in the unit and so I'll show you how to wire that this is the Yosemite right here, and this is the fixture Itself with the two lamp holders and on the opposite side, you see there are five wires. You got two white wires, two black wires, and a bare ground wire.
I'm going to show you how to hook those up in just a moment, and then you have the cross piece that goes on the what we call the gang box Electrical gang box, that's in the ceiling and in that you have an electrical, a hollow bolt. That goes in here is this screws right in and then we have on this light. We have something: that's really nice. It'S a glass diffused, it's a marble eye! There's a really nice piece there much better than the cheaper plastic ones, and this bolt goes right through there like that.
And then we have a decorative nut that screws onto that. For the bolts I'm going to be using the Phillips 11 watt, dimmable LED bulbs, they're, very economical and they dim very nicely and for the crosspiece you see, we have a grounding screw on here, a grounding nut and you need either flat screwdriver or a Better is a quarter, inch nut driver, and so I might have my Cline 11. One tool, which has one of the 11 tools, is a quarter inch. Nut driver fits right on there and so I'll be tightening that up with them with a nut driver before starting this project, you must make sure that the electricity is off.
This is my ideal circuit, breaker finder. I have it hooked to the wires in the ceiling. This is my matching ideal circuit, breaker, finder, receiver, and I'll, be taking this out to the service panel and I'll go over all the breakers on the service panel once and that chirp all at once, and then I'm going to do it again and that will find The correct circuit breaker to turn off notice, there's one green light on the transmitter. That means there's electricity, but there's no ground. This house was built in 1960 and the ceiling fixtures don't have grounds.
So I'm at the service panel right now and you see where the light just went off. I got the right circuit, breaker and so now we know that the electricity is off. Now I'm going to double check with my fluke voltage detector to make sure and double-check that the electricity is off. Our first move will be to install the crosspiece there are two little holes for your 832 screws and they go right in there. Eight is the wire size of the screw and 32 means 32 turns per inch. So that's what you use in electron gang boxes, so I'm putting the screws in right now here I'm using models.
