The lights and fan unit is up in the ceiling already I found, if you don't, really have to cut this black wire that loops through to the night light that one and you can just leave that one connected anyway, you put the two whites and two blues Into a five position lever nut, I put the black and the two Reds into this one and then just screwed the ballasts back in it has this kind of hold down loop here keeps the wires out of the fan up there. So I'm ready to go up in the attic and plug this back in I'll check it out tonight when it gets dark and then I'll show you cut for and after view and just see what the difference is here so, okay.
So one last thing I need to do is if this is my home automation system and here's the device for the ceiling light in the bathroom. These modules that I have don't have power sensing circuitry in them, but they do have a variable down here. If we can find it user supplied wattage, if you can see that I've highlighted that I used to have it set to 32, which is what the CFL used now I've got the 8 watts LED in there. So it did a change property and, let's see I'll, do a configure. Node does configure okay, so I just wanted to get one shot of the CFL light in my bathroom ceiling, fan, combination and see what that looks like before.
I swap it over to LED quite a bright white, so I did do a quite balance with this like so we'll do the same shot once we convert over to LED. So here we go. Here's the new light in the bathroom got the 8-watt is-24 bulb in there, and I think that's plenty of light. It is a little less light than the CFL put out. It just looks a lot warmer. I have the there are the lights over the vanity and we're pretty close to the same color. I think those are, I think, these lights here or 2700 or 3000 Kelvin, and I think this one is about the same.
That seems to work pretty good, much closer or match, and then these lights here are 10 watts, so there are 2 10 watt bulbs, so you've got 20 watts of light coming out from the mirror and then you've got 8 watts of light from the back. So it actually works better. You need to look at yourself in the mirror. You've got more light coming from the side that the mirrors on then you do coming from behind. You a decent looking light.
