Somnath Mahadev
   

Shri Somnath Mahadev is situated at Ghatlodia Police Line, Chankayapuri Crossing, in Ahmedabad, in Gujarat, India. Before 1994 it was a very small temple and that time it was surrounded by many trees like forest. Current scenario of temple made by the great and continues efforts of the Shri Somnath Mahadev Seva Mandal, Shri Swami Ganeshanandji and their Bhaktjana leaving in India and abroad.

Every day in the early morning Shiv Puja and Aarati is being start by 5:30 AM. Bhaktjana are also come in the early morning to take part in puja. Yagna is being done between 6:15 AM to 7:15 AM, in which men and women takes part in this. Ram Dhuna is start from 8:30 AM in the lead of Shri Prahladbhai Patel, and ends at 10:30 AM. After this all people take part in Datt Bavani, Hanuman Chalisa and Shiv Stuti. From 11:30 AM Bhojan-Prasad is given to all Bhaktjana from Anna Kshetra.

In the evening at around 4:00 PM, people do satsang and religious talks with each other. Aarti is being start by 7:15 PM. After this at 8:00 PM 70-80 children start speaking Hanuman Chalisa three times, and after finishing this breakfast or Bhojan-Prasad is given to all children. It's a very good step of Shri Swami Ganeshanandji to build feature generation with religious "sanskar".
