Shri Swami Ganeshanandji was born in the religious Brahmin family on 16/08/1931. From the childhood he got religious "sanskar" from his parents, mainly his mother and elder brother.

At the child age of eight he entered into Gopalkrishna Sanatan Brahmcharya Asharam, Sidhdhpur for the Sanskrit study, and he got degree in Kavya Shashtra Vinod. Then he got master in Grammar from Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidhyalaya, Ahmedabad. From the J. T. College and Bhartiya Vidhabhavan, he got degree in Sahitya and Astrology.

He joined P.W.D. in 1951, and also he given his services to Mahesana Sarvajanik School in 1955. Because of his independence nature he resigned these two jobs, and he becomes famous in watch business in Mahesana in 1964.

But as the "Purvajanma Sanskar" he takes Diksha from Bangali Sant Shri Shri Sitaramdas Omkarnath Thakur at Pushkar in 1968. After the death of his wife in 1981, he started his sanyasi life. He visited various religious places, ashramas over the India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Okha to Asam.

In 1994 he becomes priest in Shri Somnath Mahadev, and he makes his great efforts to make this temple grand.
